Library offers programs for kids

Posted: Updated:
MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - If you are looking for something fun and free for your children this summer, the Ouachita Parish Library may be able to help.

Through the month July, different branches have something going on almost daily.

Activities include plays, story time, educational projects and even appearances by beloved children's characters.

And of course, the library always has the summer reading program for all ages.

"In the summer time we try to get the kids involved in reading and keep them motivated for the summer so they don't get behind in their reading. And we also have things for the teens," Kathy Daughdrill.
