Monroe interim city engineer receives license to work in Louisiana

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News)- The City of Monroe may not have to go far to look for a permanent city engineer.

Kim Golden, the city's interim city engineer recently received her professional engineer's license to work in Louisiana.

She previously held a license to be an engineer in Arkansas.

Golden was appointed as the interim city engineer in February.

Mayor Jamie Mayo will ask city council to approve Golden's appointment at the city council meeting scheduled for June 24.
