MONROE, La (KNOE 8 News) - West Monroe police tell KNOE that a man accused of leading police on a car chase through the Twin Cities turned himself around 2:00 A.M. this morning. Police say 38 year old Gradis Cutchall was driving in West Monroe, headed toward a sobriety checkpoint near the Trenton Street bridge. They say Cutchall turned off to avoid going through it, and when they attempted to stop him, he fled.

Police say Cutchall led police on a high-speed chase through the Twin Cities for nearly an hour and a half. The chase ended around 10:00 PM near Cutchall's home in the Garden District, when Cutchall abandoned his vehicle and fled on foot.

Cutchall was booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center with a $12,000 bond. He is being charged with aggravated flight of an officer, and driving with a suspended license.
