MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News)- The City of Monroe could have an answer to traffic concerns in most neighborhoods.

Interim Engineer Kim Golden will ask the Monroe City Council to approve a resolution authorizing the city to use services provided by Neel-Schaffer for stand by traffic engineering services.

Golden says Neel-Schaffer will assist in the designing of traffic control for the future.

The company's services will also conduct studies in areas that has a high volume of traffic traveled on a daily basis.

Right now the company is conducting a study on Hwy. 165 at the Louberta and Renwick intersections.
