ALEXANDRIA, La. (KNOE 8 News/AP) - Prosecutors say an Elmer woman indicted on nearly 250 child-sex charges has agreed to a plea deal, though the terms of the arrangement have not been disclosed.

State District Judge John Davidson on Tuesday set a court date of May 28 for 32-year-old Dorothy Jean Vanasselberg.

A grand jury indicted Vanasselberg on 53 counts of aggravated rape, 42 counts of sexual battery, 79 counts of aggravated incest, 48 counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile and 25 counts of pornography with juveniles.

Defense attorney Joseph Kutch relinquished to the court tapes containing video of the sex acts committed by Vanasselberg and co-defendant Kyle Smith Hauenstein.

Hauenstein pleaded guilty May 7 to fewer charges and received a 35-year prison sentence.
