UNION PARISH, La. (KNOE 8 News) - A Marion woman has been booked into the Union Parish Detention Center accused of pawning four guns and a guitar amplifier.

Raven Johnston, 22, of 451 Johnston Rd., was booked May 2 on warrants charging her with four counts of theft of a firearm and one theft count. She was accused of taking the guns and amplifier from the home of Gary Mount, who was in jail at the time of the thefts. Johnston was living at the home with Gary Mount’s son, William, who is now also in jail on drug charges, deputies reported.

When Gary Mount got out of jail, he instructed Johnston to leave the residence and later discovered the missing guns and amplifier, deputies reported. The guns were pawned in Ruston while the amplifier was pawned in West Monroe. Possible charges could be filed against Johnston in Ouachita and Lincoln parishes.

Detectives recovered all of the missing items.
