MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - It was a royal affair over at St. Francis Medical Center on Saturday, as the reigning Miss Louisiana held court with other little princesses.

To raise money for the March of Dimes, St. Francis Medical Center Hosted a Storybook Time and Tea Party with Miss Louisiana Jaden Leach.

Admission was $10 dollars, with all proceeds going to the march of dimes.

The girls received their very own crown and wand, and got a chance to meet and have their picture taken with Leach.

Event coordinator Dayla Daff said this is a fun event for a very worthy cause.

"They help support our NICU and our pre-term babies. We have a lot of babies that come from this area, so they are very essential with helping us with our NICU," Daff said.

The hospital is continuing to raise money for March of Dimes through a gift basket raffle.

Tickets are $2 and include a $100 microdermabrasion gift card.

To purchase a ticket call Daff at (318) 966-4401.
