JACKSON, Miss. (KNOE 8 News/AP) - Hinds County District Attorney Robert Shuler Smith says two Jackson men have pleaded guilty to charges related to a fatal shooting and robbery at a local apartment complex.

Smith says Richard Shaquille Moffett and Demontrae Montez McGruder, both 20, pleaded guilty this week in the shooting and slaying of Limuel Lance Latham.

Latham was shot at Southdown Arms Apartments on April 5, 2011.

Circuit Judge William A. Gowan sentenced Moffett to 20 years for manslaughter and 20 years for armed robbery, to run consecutively. Gowan sentenced McGruder to 20 years for manslaughter with five years suspended and five years' probation.
