WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE 8News) - A man who was hit by a car, and flat lined twice, is now raising moneyto help others with traumatic brain injuries.

Some say it is a miracle thatafter being hit by a van while riding his bike three years ago, Seth Hancheyhosted a Star Wars theamed 5-k run.

"She did not brakeuntil she hit him. He hit the hood, caved in the windshield. He was thrown 160-plusfeet, landed on the highway, against a bridge, died at the scene twice and sustainedtraumatic brain injury," Kimber Hanchey, Seth's mom, said.

Doctors said Seth wouldlikely never recover from his injuries, but on Saturday, he finished theobstacle course.

Not only that, but he iscontinuing his studies this quarter at Louisiana Tech.

The Team Seth TraumaticBrain Injury Foundation raises money for patients to help pay for their medicalbills. They've also founded a support group.
