MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News)- Picking up some used furniture for your home or some building supplies could help build a habitat house.

Today was the ribbon cutting for the habitat for humanity re-store. Monroe mayor Jamie Mayo and members of the City Council stopped by to cut a ribbon and take a look at the store.

The grand opening of the store, located on Washington street in Monroe is Mar. 15.
