DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (KNOE 8 News/AP) - The city courts in Denham Springs and Walker are offering two amnesty programs to help people resolve certain outstanding warrants issued by the two courts.

Denham Springs is offering amnesty to anyone with an outstanding warrant issued by the Denham Springs City Court.

Walker Municipal Court is offering amnesty only for warrants for unresolved traffic citations.

Denham Springs' program will begin Saturday and end two months later May 15.

Walker's program began March 1 and will stop at the end of the month.

In Denham Springs, the amnesty program will allow anyone with outstanding warrants to pay their fines and court costs and have their warrants resolved without an arrest.
