Duck Derby winners get prizes

WEST MONROE, La. - The first place winner of the Commander Christmas Duck Derby decided to give away his prize package, to another deserving participant.

After winning first place, Gordon Crozier learned that second place winner 12-year-old Kathleen lives in an Alabama foster home.

He was so moved by her story that he donated his prize to Kathleen and her family.

Today, the group of 11 went to eat at Willie's Duck Diner, tour the Duck Commander warehouse, and will meet country singer Luke Bryan tonight at his concert in Bossier City.

Kathleen and foster sister Victoria are very excited for a chance to meet the Robertsons.

'I'm really excited to be honest. I kind of screamed when they told us what we were going to be doing," Victoria said.

And they got to ride in style also. Kathleen said it was her first time in a limo.
