Destrehan football coaches get probation

THIBODAUX, La. (KNOE 8 News/AP) - Five assistant football coaches at Destrehan High that were accused of cheating during a game with South Lafourche High School have been placed on probation.

Lafourche Parish District Attorney Cam Morvant tells says they have been required to participate in the Pretrial Intervention Program, which is primarily used for nonviolent first offenders.

The coaches, along with one coach's girlfriend, are accused of using a South Lafourche High player's user name and password to access a website where the Tarpons stored playbooks and practice film.

Accused were Destrehan assistant coach Ryan Fournier and his girlfriend, Emily Guidry, both of Larose; as well as assistant coaches Wayne Sentilles, of Montz; Daniel Luquet, of Luling; Lance Ledet, of Madisonville; and Greg Boyne, of Hahnville.
