Monroe Police looking for Coney Island thieves

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Monroe Police and Crimestoppers of Ouachita need the public's assistance in locating and identifying two suspects believed to have committed a theft at a local restaurant.

Within the last week, two subjects driving a white panel van with rails were at the Riverside Coney Island Restaurant located at 701 Walnut St. after the business had closed.

The two suspects entered the business and removed two Peavy speakers valued at $1500 and left the scene in the van.

The subjects are described as Hispanic males, one of which is slender with a long pony tail. The other Hispanic male is described as having a stocky build.

Anyone with information about the identity of these suspects or any other information about this case is urged to contact the Monroe Police Department at 318.329.2600 attention Detective Crouch or Crimestoppers at 318.388.2274 (CASH).
