Entergy prepping for ice storm

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News)- Entergy trucks from Southern Louisiana rolled into the Arklamiss Tuesday morning, prepping for the ice storm that's headed our way.

In the event of wide spread power outages residents should be aware that crews will try to restore power as quickly as possible.

They advise people to be patient and not take matters into their own hands.

Tree safety is very important as well because not only can trees be dangerous due to downed power lines but because of frozen ice on them as well that's why tree experts and Entergy says to leave that problem to them.
