FULTON, Ark. (KNOE 8 News/AP) - A woman who went into the Red River from an Interstate 30 bridge in southwestern Arkansas as a skidding 18-wheeler slid toward her remained missing as searchers using nets and sonar failed to find her.

Arkansas Game and Fish Commission spokesman Keith Stephens said early Monday night that the search had ended for the day and would resume Tuesday morning - weather permitting. Stephens said snow was possible in the region and could delay resumption of the search.

State police said three motorists were outside their vehicles after a traffic accident on the bridge near Fulton Saturday morning when two apparently jumped into the river as a tractor-trailer jackknifed on the icy pavement and skidded in their direction.

One person was rescued almost immediately, but the second remained missing.
