GULFPORT, Miss. (KNOE 8 News/AP) - A former postal worker has pleaded guilty to stealing mail while working in D'Iberville and Ocean Springs.

Juanita C. Rauch entered the plea this past week in U.S. District Court in Gulfport.

Rauch will be sentenced April 30.

A grand jury indicted her in October on two counts of mail theft.

She was accused of stealing a Target gift card from the mail while working for the U.S. Postal Service in D'Iberville. She also was accused of stealing a Walmart gift card and cash while working in Ocean Springs.

She pleaded guilty to one count. Rauch remains free on an unsecured $25,000 bond.
