Valentines Cheese Steak is the PERFECT dish for you to whip up for that special someone!
ULM Chefs joined us in the kitchen this morning to prepare their special dish. It is so good and will leave your loved one kissing the chef!

Beef tenderloin (sliced thin) 8ozw
Onion(Cut in 1/2,to create lg rings) 1ea lg
Flour 1C
Egg wash 1C
Panko bread crumb 2C
Frying oil 1Gall
Red bell pepper(seeded and cut in thin strips) 1/4ea
Green bell pepper(seeded and cut into thin strips)1/4ea
Garlic clove(shaved thin with mandoline or razorblade) 1/2ea
Portabella(oiled, seasoned and grilled)
Truffle oil 1T
Balsamic vinegar 1tsp
Thyme (fresh if possible, picked and chopped) 1tsp
Shallot(shaved thin)1/2 ea
Provolone cheese 1 slice
Salt and pepper as needed
olive oil 2T
Season beef and saute in skillet over med heat in 1T olive oil, when cooked set aside for later use. Pre heat frying oil to 350f in fryer or pot. Dredge onion ring in flour, then egg and finally panko crumbs. Deep fry onion until golden brown, Set aside on paper towel to drain. Mix red bell, green bell, garlic, truffle oil,remaining olive oil, vinegar, thyme, and shallot together, season with salt and pepper and set aside. To assemble place grilled portabella on plate first, then fried onion ring, place cooked beef in onion ring, top with provolone and place in 200f oven until cheese is melted. Remove from oven and top with bell pepper mix and serve immediately. Enjoy!
