Robbery leaves police on the hunt for a suspect

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News)- Monroe Police are still on the hunt for the suspect in an early morning armed robbery of The Federal Employees Credit Union.

As of now police do not know how much money was taken from the bank, however customers in the bank had personal belongings taken from them by the suspect.

This is an ongoing investigation. Police are asking the public if they have any information about the robbery to please call Crime Stoppers at (318)-388-CASH.

MONROE,La. (KNOE 8 News)- Around 9:15 Monday morning Monroe Police responded to a robbery at the Federal Credit Union on Highway 165.

Police say a black male in dark clothing and a mask left the credit union near the post office with an undetermined amount of cash.

Police are still looking for the suspect, and anyone with any information is urged to call Monroe Police.
