BATON ROUGE, La. (KNOE 8 News/AP) - A 34-year-old Gonzales woman who allegedly struck a man twice with her car in a Baton Rouge parking lot has been indicted in his September death.

An East Baton Rouge Parish grand jury charged Keyon Williams on Thursday with second-degree murder in the Sept. 5 death of 46-year-old Mark Heald.

East Baton Rouge Parish sheriff's deputies say Heald was arguing with a woman acquaintance about narcotics when the woman called a friend to pick her up. A vehicle containing several women and driven by Williams arrived soon after to pick up Heald's acquaintance, but Heald tried to block the vehicle from leaving.

Deputies say Williams then drove forward, striking Heald.

It was unclear whether Williams has an attorney.
