Madison Parish residents speak out against violence

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News)- After a shooting in Madison Parish, many residents are speaking out against the violence.

The Madison Parish Sheriff's Office have arrested five men in connection with a shooting at the 80/20 club that left six people injured.

Mario Oliver, Jeremy Oliver, Dondee Thomas, Henry Holloway, and Lamar Miller were arrested and charged with multiple counts of attempted murder.

The five men are all said to be involved in different gangs in Madison Parish. The residents are concerned that the war between the Bloods and Crips are dividing the small community.
