GRAMBLING, La. (KNOE 8 News) - KNOE 8 News has received pictures of conditions in Grambling Lab High School during the cold temperatures.

An Anonymous student sent the pictures to KNOE saying that there was little heat in the school. In the pictures, students are shown bundled up in coats, hats, scarves, and gloves.

Also, new pictures sent to us on Wednesday show space heaters being used in areas of the school including the hallway.

One picture shows a window in the girl's bathroom.  The anonymous source of the picture said that the window was broken and could not be closed.

The student who sent us the pictures said, "I contacted KNOE News to show the public the conditions Grambling High's students are coming to school under. These pictures are evidence. Every classroom except one or two have no heat. The heat in those classes aren't even sufficient. Our bathrooms are even freezing cold. The only place warm enough in the school is the lobby and main office. These pictures show students inside with their coats, scarves, and even hats on. Another one of the pictures shows the gym's bathroom windows can't even be closed. Parents have called and complained and nothing has been done. We should not be expected to come to school in such harsh conditions. The conditions have gotten worse since we got out for our Winter break."

KNOE 8 News has reached out to the principal of Grambling Lab and received no comment.
