Monroe Police respond to burglary victim

Posted: Updated:

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News)- Monroe police says detectives have an arrest warrant and haven't stopped working in the case of local Chef Corey Bahr, who took to facebook talking about a recent burglary he was a victim of.

Police say Bahr reported items missing on December 17th.

And using his own software was able to track down the items on December 22nd.

That's when Bahr called police again.

Police weren't able to find the suspect at that spot but with the help of neighbors investigators were able to determine a suspect.

Right now police have a warrant out for the arrest of Patrick Carter.

"The detective in this case tried to locate mister Carter with the address under his parol file but Carter has since moved that address so those attempts have not been able to pan out at this point" says Johnson.

Johnson also says they are taking this case very seriously but they must follow the law.
