GLOSTER, Miss. (KNOE 8 News/AP) - Gloster Police say they've arrested a man accused of shooting at two officers and stealing a patrol car hours after he allegedly kidnapped a McComb woman in a late-night home invasion.

None of the officers were hurt in the incident that happened just after midnight Thursday.

Police said the suspect was captured in Louisiana.

27-year-old Dennis J. Morgan, of McComb, was captured in Greensburg, La., hours after the alleged kidnapping. He's accused of shooting at lawmen, carjacking the Gloster Police chief and leading state troopers on a high speed chase into Louisiana.

Morgan faces two counts of attempted murder of a law enforcement officer and one count of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. He faces more charges in Mississippi.
