UPDATE: Entergy working to restore power in Arklamiss

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Entergy's outage maps shows over 3,000 customers in our viewing area that are still without power.

Crews are out working to restore power across northeast Louisiana, and crews from surrounding areas have traveled to assist.

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Entergy has reported that at the end of tonight there will be 4,000 to 5,000 people that will remain without power through the overnight hours.

They say that most of the power will be restored by the end of the day tomorrow.

Additional Entergy crews are coming into the area to assist with high number of scattered cases.

Roderick worthy from the electric company reports that outages are scattered throughout the entire Arklamiss and the most remote and or extreme outages could not be restored until Monday.
