Armed robbery at Monroe McDonald's

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Police search for suspect after early morning armed robbery at McDonald's.

Around 5 a.m. Saturday, Monroe Police were called to the McDonald's restaurant on Highway 165 at Webster. The manager was leaving the business when he/she was approached by a suspect in the parking lot. He was armed with a handgun and threatened the manager. Police say he took a bank bag then ran north. No injuries were reported, and the amount of cash is not being disclosed at this time.

The manager describes the suspect as a black male, 5'9", 170 lbs, wearing a dark colored hoodie and blue bandana covering his face.
