Chamber of Commerce release new officers

WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) – The West Monroe-West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce its 2014 Chairman and Officers.

Staci Albritton Mitchell has been elected to serve as chairman of the West Monroe-West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She will serve a two-year term that begins on January 1, 2014.

She is the owner of Albritton Photography, located in West Monroe, and currently serves on the Board of Aldermen for the City of West Monroe. A life-long resident of West Monroe, she is very active in community service organizations such as the Cancer Foundation League, Kiwanis Club of West Monroe and the West Monroe High School Foundation. She is married to Assistant District Attorney Jay Mitchell.

"Economic growth and business development are both very important to me and something I am passionate about," she said. "This Chamber will continue to serve its members in those areas. I am honored and excited to be the 2014 Chairman of the Board."

Other officers include Billy Hance of Centric Federal Credit Union, Immediate Past Chairman; Bob Wilson, owner of Tummy Yummy Creations, Incoming Chairman and Darrell Nordan of Elite Management Services as Secretary/Treasurer.
