WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News): OPSO has identified the suspect in today's school lockdown as Charlotte Collins, 49, of West Monroe.

Major Jason Pleasant tells KNOE that Collins has been sent for medical treatment after being questioned by investigators. Deputies determined that the box Collins brought to Good Hope Middle School Thursday was filled with a dish and wrapping paper, and that she brought a similar package to West Ridge Middle School full of wrapping paper Wednesday.

Pleasant says deputies are securing arrest warrants for two counts of terrorizing.

Ouachita Parish Schools tells KNOE that Collins is a former teacher. In 2005, Collins taught art at Richwood, according to Superintendent Bob Webber.
