LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Police in Little Rock are trying to find 25 iPads that were stolen from a classroom at Hall High School overnight.

A teacher reported the theft on Wednesday, saying the devices were worth more than $500 each, giving them a total value of nearly $13,000.

The teacher told police that a window to the classroom was open and a lock was cut on a cart on which the equipment was stored.

Officials say an alarm sounded at the school at about 11 p.m. Tuesday, which is when police believe the break-in occurred.

Investigators are looking for a 14-year-old student who was allegedly overheard discussing the theft.
