A Delhi little boy finally gets a chance to meet Santa

Posted: Updated:

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News)- It was an interesting project for students at Delhi High School to make Christmas very special for someone, but they passed with flying colors.

The JAG program at Delhi High School under the leadership of their faculty advisor Anthony Smith mad Christmas very special for little Jonathan Graham.

Smith's great nephew and Jonathan's best friend, KJ thought it would only be right for his friend to get some toys and warm clothes this Christmas.

Jonathan lost both of his parents at the age of four in a car accident. He was the only one that survived the fatal crash.

At the age of four Jonathan was admitted into foster care where he stayed until earlier this year. He now lives with his great grandmother.

The gifts Jonathan received varied from clothes, toy cars, and sport balls. All of those gifts didn't amount to the brand new bike Santa gave him.

At the end of the day Jonathan was all smiles and a blessed little boy.
