MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News/CNN) - AMC Theatres is preparing to go public, and is offering loyal customers a chance to buy shares at the discounted price big investors pay.

The company's CEO says the movie operator will set aside more than 100,000 share of common stock in its initial public offering for its stubs customer reward program.

Members will be able to buy those shares on a first-come first-serve basis. The IPO price isn't final yet, but the company has set a range of 18 to 20 dollars a share.

Another draw for these potential investors is that there are no fees.
