Suspect in Ouachita Parish homicide turns himself in

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News)- Charlie P. Goodin turned himself in Saturday night to the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Department.

Goodin was being sought after for his involvement in the murder of Gary Croom, whom he allegedly shot multiple times after a verbal disagreement.

Witnesses identified Goodin as being the trigger man, also giving a description of the vehicle he left the scene in.

Goodin is being held at the Ouachita Correctional Center and has been charged with second degree murder. His bond has been set at 1.5 million dollars.
