Cupcakes help families of veterans with PTSD

Posted: Updated:

MONORE La. (KNOE 8 News) - The holiday season is known as a time of giving. That's just what a pair of local residents are doing to help families with relatives who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

The company is called "Cupcakes for PTSD" and is founded by Kacey Eppinette and Renea Tarver.

Cupcakes for PTSD was started in memory of Kacey's late husband, Chad Eppinette, who lost his battle with PTSD.

The duo sells cupcakes to raise money to assist veterans who are in need for Christmas in an effort to let them know that they are not forgotten.

Cupcakes for PTSD is taking donations and cupcake orders until December 13th. Once the proceeds are collected, the money will be used to buy food and home goods for a family in need this Christmas.

If you interested in ordering or donating to Cupcakes for PTSD contact:

Kacey Eppinette: (318) 789-0941

Renea Tarver: (318) 789-4889
