Crime stoppers segment gets results

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - A Crime Stoppers segment aired on KNOE 8 News has resulted in burglary charges against a suspect already in custody.

Detectives have charged 53-year-old Clyde Wyatt of Monroe with the burglary of the Monroe Welding Supply on November 16th. The burglary was featured during a Crime Stoppers segment last week.

Wyatt is also charged with two counts of burglary at Ryan Chevrolet on November 14th and November 18th.

Wyatt is currently in custody on unrelated charges.

Detectives have recovered several of the items that were taken and the investigation continues. Tips that led to the arrest were gathered through Crime Stoppers.
