UPDATE: Fourth suspect surrenders in Monroe murder

UPDATE: 

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - A fourth arrest has been made in the South Monroe murder that took place last week on South Sixth Street.

Demarcus Parsons, 22, wanted in connection to the murder of Tiant McGee, has turned himself in.

Parsons is booked in the Ouachita Correctional Center on charges of second degree murder, armed robbery, and conspiracy.

Three other arrests have already been made in this case.

The murder happened last week on South 9th Street in Monroe. Police are now seeking:

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Monroe Police have arrested Donterious Ballard ,19, in connection to the October 24th shooting death of Tiant McGee.

Ballard has been booked at the Ouachita Correctional Center on charges of 2nd degree murder, armed robbery and conspiracy.

Two other arrests have also been made in this case.

Monroe Police have made a second arrest in the death of Tiant McGee.

17-year-old Devonta Henderson was arrested Tuesday afternoon.  This follows the arrest of Kurteashea Jones.

Detectives say they uncovered evidence and witness statements that connected Jones to conspiring to commit a robbery.

Jones was arrested on Second degree murder, armed robbery, and conspiracy charges.

McGee was found dead on South 6th Street on October 24. McGee had been shot several times and was taken to a local hospital where he died.

Police are not releasing other details, as the investigation is still ongoing.
