NFL player tackles breast cancer

MONROE, La (KNOE 8 News)- Former NFL player and Monroe native Bradie James has made it a priority to provide  breast cancer awareness in the Monroe area. James donated a check worth 71,500 dollars. James is the founder of the Fifty-Six Foundation, an initiative group that promotes breast cancer awareness. 

James' plan is to spread awareness by partnering up with Louisiana State University Health Systems to manage a mobile mammogram screening station, that will tour the northeast Louisiana region.
