GRAMBLING, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Grambling's football team continues to deal with challenges on and off the field.

The firing of Doug Williams in mid-September and two long bus trips to Kansas City and Indianapolis have players questioning the direction of the program. Multiple sources tell KNOE 8 Sports Grambling President Frank Pogue and school officials held a meeting with the team Tuesday night to try to resolve some of the issues. However, several players left after the student government president criticized the team.

The Tigers were scheduled to have a practice about an hour ago (Wednesday 5p), but it was quickly called off when no one showed up. Doctor Pogue and Interim Coach George Ragsdale have declined to comment on the situation.
