LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KNOE 8 News) - The U.S. Justice department says a Jacksonville, Arkansas man has been arrested in connection with attacks targeting electrical substations and transmission lines in rural Arkansas.

37-year old Jason Woodring was arrested on a federal charge of destruction of an energy facility.

Authorities say Woodring was arrested Saturday after authorities found evidence similar to those used at one of the sabotage sites.

Woodring is expected to make his first court appearance on Tuesday.
