MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) -Federal prosecutors have filed a response in opposition to Arthur Gilmore's request for bail pending an appeal.

The former Monroe City Councilman's attorney filed a motion Wednesday, requesting that Gilmore stay out of jail pending an appeal.
