BAGHDAD (KNOE 8 News/AP) - A wave of bombings Wednesday in Iraq has left at least 58 people dead and many more wounded.

Police say the bombings in and around the capital Baghdad targeted parking lots, outdoor markets and restaurants in the city's predominantly Shiite neighborhoods.

The worst bombing Wednesday was in the northern neighborhood of Kazimiyah, where two bombs went off in a parking lot followed by a suicide car bomber who struck onlookers. Police say 10 people were killed and 27 wounded.

In recent months more than 3,000 people have died in attacks.
