2 men indicted in trafficking investigation

Posted: Updated:

OXFORD, Miss. (AP) - Two men have been indicted on charges of participating in a cocaine trafficking organization in north Mississippi.

The indictment charged Joseph Benson, also known as "Jo-Jo," and Queston Skipper, also known as "Bunny," with conspiracy and drug distribution.

Court records list the place of offense as Clarksdale, but the indictment says they worked with others in Mississippi and elsewhere to establish a continuous supply of the drug.

Their arraignment is scheduled for Monday in U.S. District Court in Oxford.

The indictment said the suspects used stash houses to store drugs and "physical force and the threat of physical force" to further their operations.
