FRESNO, Calif. (KNOE 8 News/AP) - An out-of-control forest fire near Yosemite National Park in California has grown to more than 25 square miles and is only 5 percent contained.

Fire officials say the remote blaze in Stanislaus National Forest is threatening some 2,500 structures, including homes and hotels.

It's one of 50 large wildfires in the western U.S.
