Pecan Squares

INGREDIENTS:

1 can crossaint rolls

1/2 cup pecans

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup corn syrup (dark or light)

1/2 tsp vanilla

1 egg

1 tablespoon of butter

Cream cheese to taste

MOP:

Roll out croissant rolls and cook for 8 minutes at 350 degrees. Lay as single sheet and make sure there's no creases in pastry before cooking. Combine pecans, sugar, corn syrup into bowl. Beat egg in separate bowl and then add to mixture. Add melted butter to mixture.  Add in a small amount of cream cheese.  Make sure cream cheese is not in one lump.  Cook in oven for 20-25 minutes. Wait for 1 hour before serving.
