TOKYO (KNOE 8 News/AP) - Japan's nuclear watchdog says it's taking the leaking of radioactive water at the crippled Fukushima nuclear power plant seriously.

And it may reclassify the event as a "serious incident" instead of "an anomaly."

The plant's operator says 80,000 gallons of contaminated water has leaked from a steel tank around the plant.

But Tokyo Electric Power hasn't figured out how or where the water leaked.
