ABERDEEN, Miss. (AP) - A federal judge has rescheduled the sentencing hearing for a man convicted in a crack cocaine case in north Mississippi.

Genorris Freeman was indicted in April 2012 on a charge of distributing more than 28 grams of the drug in Prairie in Monroe County. He pleaded guilty in January.

Sentencing had been scheduled for Tuesday, but is now set for Sept. 18 in U.S. District Court in Aberdeen.

Due to a previous felony drug conviction, Freeman faces from 10 years to life in prison.
