CAIRO (KNOE 8 News/AP) - Egypt's supreme leader of the Muslim Brotherhood is now being held in military detention.

The jailing of Mohammed Badie comes after Monday's brazen attack on off-duty policemen in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula.

Suspected Islamic militants ambushed the policemen, made them lie on the sand and shot and killed 25 of them.
