WASHINGTON (KNOE 8 News/AP) - In the U.S., members of Congress are split over whether the U.S. should cut off military aid to Egypt amid the spiraling violence there.

Democrats are generally supportive of President Barack Obama's approach. Some Republicans, including Sen. John McCain, are calling for the elimination of military aid.

While other Republicans, such as Congressman Peter King, are more hesitant.
