Guns, other items recovered in car burglaries

WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - Wednesday, the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office investigated 12 vehicle burglaries in the areas of Sylvan Lakes, Northwood Drive and Bayside Drive.

Suspects entered unlocked vehicles and removed guns, wallets, and sunglasses.

Deputies determined three teens, 17-year-old Hayden Pardue, 18-year-old Cameron Chase Chilton and 18-year-old Chase Roark to be suspects in these vehicle burglaries.

Evidence confirms that during the early morning hours of July 31st, all suspects went to several neighborhoods in West Monroe with the intent to enter vehicles. Investigators and members of the OPSO SCAT were able to recover the stolen handguns, sunglasses, credit cards and other personal IDs from a mobile home in the 4800 Block of Cypress St in West Monroe.

Pardue, Chilton, and Roark have been booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center for 4 counts of Burglary. This investigation is ongoing with additional charges stemming from these burglaries expected.
