Bread pudding recipe from Ruby's Bakery

MONROE, La. (KNOE 8 News) - This morning Meg from Ruby's Bakery made bread pudding. Here is the recipe.

Bread Pudding
 
5 slices of white bread cut in squares
6 tbs melted butter
1 tsp cinnamon
2 cups milk

4 eggs
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt

In a large bowl, toss bread with cinnamon. Add butter and toss. Put bread in an 8 inch square baking dish.

In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Pour a third of the mixture over the bread and let sit for about 10 minutes. Repeat 2 more times.

Set dish in a large baking pan (such as a sheet pan) and fill the larger pan halfway with water. Carefully place in oven and bake at 350* for 1hr and 15min.
