PLAIN DEALING, La. (KNOE 8 News/AP) - Two small goats have wandered into custody of the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office.

Lt. Bill Davis says whoever owns them has until July 26 to claim the goats before they're sold at public auction.

He says the lost goats were found Friday by Pleasant Hill Cemetery Road near Plain Dealing.

The owner will have to identify the animals and pay the sheriff's office for the costs of care, custody and control before the animals will be released.

Davis says the owner or anyone else with information about the owner should contact Tommy Hancock with the sheriff's office at 318-965-2203.
